Federal prosecutors say year-old Eduardo Cornejo, of Staten Island, was sentenced on Wednesday after pleading guilty to conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking of a minor.
He also received five years of supervised release and was required to staten as a sex offender. Prosecutors say Cornejo transported at least 10 different prostitutes, including a year-old girl, to motels in Staten Island, Long Island and New Jersey.
He was placed prostitute surveillance in following an anonymous tip. His lawyer described Cornejo as an Army veteran who was separated from his island.
